1. What we provide

MyCV.ie writes CVs and related career documents to order for the Irish job market. What is included depends on the package you buy:

2. Turnaround times

Turnaround is counted in calendar days and starts when you submit your completed intake form, not when you pay. If we need to come back to you for missing information, the clock pauses until you reply.

3. Revisions

Each package includes the number of revision rounds listed above. A revision round means you send us your consolidated feedback and we return an amended draft. Revisions cover refining and correcting the documents we produced. Rewriting for an entirely different career direction, or adding roles and material you did not tell us about originally, is new work and may be quoted separately.

Revision requests should be made within 7 days of receiving your draft.

4. Your right to cancel

Because you are buying a service online, you normally have 14 days from purchase to cancel and get your money back under the Consumer Rights Act 2022.

However, when you submit your intake form and ask us to start, you are asking us to begin the service within that 14-day window. If we have fully completed and delivered your documents, the cancellation right no longer applies, because the service has been performed. If you cancel after we have started but before delivery, we may retain a proportionate amount for the work already done.

5. Our satisfaction guarantee

Separately from your legal cancellation rights, and in addition to them, we offer this:

• If your draft misses the mark, tell us and we will rewrite it. Revisions are included, not extra.
• If we still cannot produce something you are happy with, email us within 14 days of submitting your intake form and we will refund you in full.

We ask only that you give us the chance to fix it first. Send us specific feedback so we know what is wrong. Refunds are returned to the original payment method within 10 working days.

6. What we need from you

The quality of your CV depends heavily on the quality of the information you give us. You agree that the details you provide are truthful and accurate. We write and structure your experience persuasively; we do not invent qualifications, employment history or results, and we will not do so if asked.

7. What we cannot promise

We are good at what we do, but no CV writer can guarantee you interviews or a job offer. Hiring outcomes depend on the market, the role, your experience, competition and how you interview. Nothing on this site should be read as a guarantee of employment.

Similarly, "ATS-optimised" means your CV is written and formatted to be parsed correctly by applicant tracking systems and to reflect the language of your target roles. Applicant tracking systems vary between employers and we cannot guarantee the behaviour of any specific one.

8. Ownership

Once you have paid in full, the documents we create are yours. You can use, edit and distribute them however you like, permanently. We may describe the work generically in anonymised examples, but we will never publish your CV or identify you without your written permission.

9. Payment

All card payments are processed by a certified external payment provider. We do not receive or store your card details. Prices are in euro and include VAT where applicable. Work begins once payment has cleared.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts. Nothing here limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
